We want to make Piirus the best it can be, and we’d like your help. We’re looking for researchers based in Warwick who are interested in giving us some feedback on Piirus. Piirus is a global pathway for the research community to identify, match and connect across boundaries.
We’re specifically looking at the language used to describe research on Piirus and you would be asked to undertake some searches on the site and give feedback on how well the results meet your expectations. This will help us to understand how well searching and matching on Piirus works, and where we might be able to make further improvements to searching and matching.
Why only Warwick researchers?
Piirus is based at the University of Warwick and this gives us easy access to this research community. The current evaluation of matching that we are undertaking needs us to observe a range of tasks related to search. This is why we are seeking Warwick researchers as we can work face-to-face with them. However if you would like to take part in the evaluation and you are not based in Warwick, we’d love to hear from you and we can arrange to do this online at a time that is convenient for you.

We’re looking for 10 researchers from different disciplines and career stages, and all participants selected for the evaluation will receive a voucher. No prior knowledge of Piirus is needed, so it doesn’t matter whether you already use Piirus or not. If you’re interested in being involved, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
